I do not think that the problem is Doug Jones.

He is, after the all, the guy who went after the 16th Street Baptist Church bombers after more than 30 years when he did not have to.

The problem is that his campaign is largely being run by the national party, and it is the national party, and their overpaid incompetent consultants (Nomiki Konst has called this out), which are having him run exactly the same losing campaign as did Jon Ossoff.

It’s the party that is bad, not Mr. Jones.

I should note that once I heard all the high end consultants working his campaign, I decided not to contribute, because regardless of his qualities as a person, the campaign is a lost cause.
