Speaking of Quiet Quitting

It appears that the officers of the Portland (Oregon) Police Bureau are refusing to investigate stolen car reports because of their butt-hurt over the Black Lives Matter protests.

And people wonder why police officers are on occasion juxtaposed with the genus Sus.

It is not just the PPB where this is happening, and I’m sure that if online police forums were checked, we would see these officers engaging in an illegal conspiracy to refuse to enforce the law as a political tactic to influence elections.

That, in must jurisdictions, would qualify as a felony criminal conspiracy and corruption.

The New York Time story, as it frequently does, misses the big picture, and focuses on the volunteer effort to recover cars, rather than the corruption of the PPB, and police forces more generally, as an institution.
